Jackson's Ultrasounds

We were very fortunate to have seven ultrasounds of our little Jackson.  I had the first one at six weeks.  The first one is usually not done until 10 weeks, but my doctor wanted me to have one earlier because of the miscarriages I had previously.  Once the bleeding started at 12 weeks, I  had an ultrasound almost once a week.  The last one was at 20 weeks and it was a video ultrasound.  We got to see all 10 fingers and toes as well as all four chambers of his little heart beating!  It was amazing!  He was as healthy as can be.  I am so glad we got to see our little boy alive and well so many times.  I cherish all those sweet memories we have of him!

13 weeks gestation

I began bleeding the day before, so we had this ultrasound to make sure our little boy was okay.  Even though I was bleeding quite a bit, he was doing just fine!

15 weeks and 4 days gestation

I was continuing to bleed quite heavily so we had another ultrasound to check our little guy.  He was still doing great!

More bleeding issues, but our baby was doing just fine!

18 weeks and 6 days gestation

I had some really scary bleeding on a Sunday and my doctor was kind enough to meet me at the office and perform this ultrasound to make sure everything was okay.  Jackson was doing great and it was at this ultrasound that we finally found out we were expecting a little boy!

Here are the ultrasounds we used when we announced our pregnancy at about 20 weeks.

  It's a Boy!
 What a cute profile!

Here are some clips of the video ultrasound done the same day . . .

This one has great shots of Jackson's little face as well as his arms and legs!

This one shows his little feet, stomach, and you can see all four chambers of his little heart beating!

This one you can hear his little heart beat!  ( you need to pause the music below first).  You can also see his spine and kidneys.

This one you can see his bladder as well as both halves of his brain.  It's amazing!

I am so grateful for all these ultrasounds of our special boy!  They are absolute treasures!
