Awareness Month

There are a lot of things we have become aware of since the loss of our little boy.  One thing I found out is that we have a national 'Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month' each October.  And an 'Infant Loss Awareness Day' on October 15th.  It's perfect  that it is October because that is when I was due with Jackson.  I think this will be a special way we can remember him and honor his memory each year.  We will celebrate his birthday in June and then honor his memory each October.
Share-Parents of Utah does a special 'Walk For Remembrance and Hope' each October too.  This year it is on Saturday, October 13th.  They have a memorial walk, name reading, and balloon release.  I am so excited to participate with my family!  I think this will become a special tradition each year. I have been amazed at all the activities and awareness that has been going on all around me that I had no idea even existed.   I am so grateful for the support I have received and all the new friends I have made throughout all of this.  I can't wait for the 'Remembrance Walk'!  For more information about Share and the 'Remembrance Walk' click here:   Walk for Remembrance & Hope
