This will be a special tradition for our family each October. It is a nice way to honor Jackson's memory.

Walk of Remembrance
Today we had the opportunity to participate in the 'Share Walk of Remembrance'. It was held at Larkin Mortuary and Cemetery in Salt Lake. It happens each year around October 15th which is 'Infant and Pregnancy Loss Awareness Day'. They had a beautiful program and then a walk around the cemetery. At the end of the walk you got a balloon. We had fun writing messages on Jackson's balloon with our family. Then they had a name reading and balloon release. It was really moving to see all the balloons floating in the sky together. It was a special experience for our family. It was nice being surrounded by so many people who know what we are going through. Caden and Elise made their little brother cards that will be sealed in the 'memory vault'. It's so neat that they do things like this!

What a neat thing for you guys to do with your family to honor Jackson. I am glad that there are events like this so you have an opportunity to give a receive support from others who understand what you are going through.
Thanks for letting Dad and I go and share this experience with you, Jason, Caden and Elise. It was very bittersweet to remember Jackson this way. I think of him all the time and my heart aches for all of you.
